In addition to microbiological contamination, the presence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria in water systems has emerged as an environmental health concern. Monitoring microbial quality and resistance patterns is essential for ensuring safe water supplies and preventing disease outbreaks. This study seeks to assess microbial contamination and antibiotic resistance among bacterial isolates from borehole water sources.
