Background
Emerging infectious diseases continue to pose major threats to healthcare systems worldwide. Nurses are often frontline responders during outbreaks and play critical roles in surveillance, infection prevention, patient management, and public education. Effective outbreak response requires adequate preparedness, knowledge, and access to resources. However, preparedness levels among nurses in Nigeria remain underexplored. This study seeks to evaluate nurses' readiness to respond to emerging infectious disease outbreaks and identify factors influencing preparedness.

Suggested Methodology
